Jays Care Foundation

Developmental Services of Leeds and Grenville (DSLG) is proud to announce that we have been selected by Jays Care Foundation as a partner in the 2022 Community Partners program. DSLG will be running the Challenger Baseball Program as created by Jays Care Foundation and will be implementing the program into our Children's Services Social Skills Building Group this summer.

Jays Care Foundation, the charitable arm of the Toronto Blue Jays, uses baseball as a tool to teach life-skills and create lasting social change for over 35,000 children and youth across Canada. Jays Care proudly works in all ten provinces and three territories running community programs to level the playing field for Canadian kids facing barriers, and has invested over $10 million through Field of Dreams to support the building or refurbishment of more than 100 baseball diamonds and recreation spaces. Since 2020, Jays Care programs have been ambitiously adapted to support Canadian children and families who have been disproportionately impacted by the social effects of COVID-19.
